• Notes : Core courses and Tainan Cultural Tour are both inseparable parts of the program. Those who don’t participate in Tainan Cultural Tour won’t get any fee deduction. The NCKU AISSM Summer School is not responsible for participants’ accommodation. Participants need to arrange their accommodation during the program on their own. We highly recommend you book your hotels/hostels right after you receive your confirmation letter since beds in hotels/hostels around NCKU may be limited during the summer vacation. The Program Fee covers lunches of days with classes. Accommodation cost and other meals are to be not included. Students need to afford fees not included in the program, such as accommodation and dinner. Please be sure to purchase and obtain medical and accident insurance covering the whole period of your participation in the program before your entering Taiwan. The insurance plan you choose should cover medical and hospital expenses for sickness or accidents during your stay in Taiwan. Participants will be able to download the participation certificate through the ISA system after the completion of the program, and the transcript (including class title, credits, letter grade, and scores based on a 100-point scale) around February 2024. For those who need credit recognition, please consult your home department for the related policy of your university. Applicants need to cover bank fees for the wire transaction. Refund

The application fee is not refundable. For refund policy of the program fee, please refer to the below information. If NCKU AISSM cancels the 2023 programs, the payment shall be refunded in full. Each type of fee has different deadlines in terms of cancellation, please check refund policies for more information. All cancellation forms must be submitted to the Academy of Innovative Semiconductor and Sustainable Manufacturing before the deadlines.
