The Japanese semiconductor giant company- DISCO Corporation is offering a winter internship program in Japan. Students from related fields are welcome to apply!
1. National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) and DISCO Corporation, a leading Japanese semiconductor company, are jointly organizing the internship program in the 2025–2026 academic year. Four students are expected to be selected for an internship in Tokyo.
2. Eligibility requirements:
(1) Applicants must not have previously received any subsidy under the MOE "Hsueh-Hai"(學海) programs.
(2) Applicants must be current undergraduate or master’s students majoring in engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science–related fields.
(3) Applicants must possess Japanese language proficiency at N2 level or above.
(4) Applicants must be proactive and self-motivated.
(5) Applicants must obtain approval from their home institution.
(6) Applicants must pass an interview conducted by DISCO Corporation.
3. The internship will take place during the 2026 winter break (January–February), with locations including both the Taipei and Tokyo offices.
4. Selected interns will receive financial support from the "Shih-Hai Dream-Building Program" implemented by NTUST, covering round-trip economy airfare to Japan and part of the living expenses. Accommodation in Japan and internship wages in Taipei will be provided by DISCO Corporation.

6. Selected students must complete the official overseas internship application process through their department, with endorsements from the Office of International Affairs (OIA) and other relevant units, in order to fulfill on-campus procedures.
