Announcement: Application for 114-2 Industry Expert Co-Teaching Course Subsidy

Basis: This application is handled in accordance with the “Directions Governing Subsidies for Collaborative Teaching with Industry Experts Under the NCKU AISSM” (see Attachment 1).

Eligibility: NCKU professors offering professional practical courses in the AISSM, designed based on the characteristics of the offering program and industry development needs.(The primary offering department must be part of the Academy. The course code should begin with one of the following prefixes: MZ, M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, or M6.)

Qualifications of Invited Industry Experts: Must meet at least one of the following criteria:

(1) Possess over five years of practical experience related to the professional field of the course.

(2) Have practical work experience related to the course’s professional field and teach in English.
For courses previously offered, in addition to meeting the above requirements, study records of students from the AISSM must be attached for subsidy eligibility.

Application Period: From now until September 19, 2025.

Submission Materials: Project proposal (see Attachment 2).

Subsidy Items:

(1) Hourly fees for industry experts: Based on the Executive Yuan-designated Table of Lecture Fees and the NCKU-designated Lecture Fee Payment Standards.

(2) Transportation expenses for industry experts: Reimbursed with verification of receipts.

Each course may receive up to NT$100,000 in subsidies.

Application Procedure:

(1) The course instructor shall submit the proposal within the application period to the Degree Program Curriculum Committee for review.

(2) The Degree Program shall recommend the application to the AISSM and Student Affairs Office for re-evaluation and forward it to the College Curriculum Committee for approval, followed by the Dean’s final authorization. Each Degree Program is limited to one subsidized course.

(3) Approved applications will be notified via email.

(4) For subsidized courses, a final report must be submitted before the start of the following semester after the course ends.
